Surah Al-Qari'ah (The Calamity)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

The (Day of) Calamity! [1]
What is the (Day of) Calamity? [2]
Ah, what will convey unto thee what the (Day of) Calamity is! [3]
(It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, [4]
And the mountains will be like carded wool. [5]
Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy, [6]
Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. [7]
But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light, [8]
Will have his home in Hawiyah. [9]
And what will explain to thee what Hawiyah is? [10]
(It is) a fire blazing fiercely! [11]

Surah At-Takathur (Boasting)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

Abundance diverts you. [1]
Until ye visit the graves. [2]
But nay, ye soon shall know (the reality). [3]
Again, ye soon shall know! [4]
Nay! if you had known with a certain knowledge. [5]
Ye shall certainly see Hell-Fire! [6]
Again, ye shall see it with certainty of sight! [7]
Then, shall ye be questioned that Day about the joy (ye indulged in!). [8]

Surah Al-Asr (Time)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

By time [1]
Most surely man is in loss, [2]
Except those who believe and do good, and enjoin on each other truth, and enjoin on each other patience. [3]

Surah Al-Humazah (The Slanderer)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

Woe to every (kind of) scandal-monger and-backbiter [1]
Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by, [2]
Thinking that his wealth would make him last for ever! [3]
Nay! he shall most certainly be hurled into the Hutamah. [4]
Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Hutamah is? [5]
It is the fire kindled by Allah [6]
Which leapeth up over the hearts (of men) [7]
Surely it shall be closed over upon them [8]
(While they are bound) In columns outstretched. [9]

Surah Al-Fil (The Elephant)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

Seest thou not how thy Lord dealt with the Companions of the Elephant? [1]
Did He not make their treacherous plan go astray? [2]
And He sent against them Flights of Birds, [3]
Striking them with stones of baked clay. [4]
And made them like leaves devoured (by insects) [5]

Surah Quraish (The Quraish)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

For the covenants (of security and safeguard enjoyed) by the Quraish, [1]
Their covenants (covering) journeys by winter and summer, [2]
Let them worship the Lord of this House (Kaabah) [3]
Who provides them with food against hunger, and with security against fear (of danger). [4]

Surah Al-Ma'un (Small Kindnesses)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

Seest thou one who denies the Judgment (to come)? [1]
Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness), [2]
And does not urge (others) to feed the poor. [3]
So woe to the praying ones, [4]
Who are neglectful of their prayers, [5]
Who do (good) to be seen, [6]
And refuse (to hand out) small kindnesses. [7]

Surah Al-Kauthar (Abundance)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

To thee have We granted the Fount (of Abundance). [1]
Therefore to thy Lord turn in Prayer and Sacrifice. [2]
For he who hate thee, he will be cut off (from future hope). [3]

Surah Al-Kafirun (The Disbelievers)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

Say : O ye that reject Faith! [1]
I worship not that which ye worship, [2]
Nor will ye worship that which I worship. [3]
And I will not worship that which ye worship, [4]
Nor will ye worship that which I worship. [5]
For you your religion, and for me my religion [6]

Surah An-Nasr (Aid)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

When comes the aid of Allah, and Victory [1]
And thou dost see the people enter Allah's Religion in crowds [2]
Celebrate the praises of thy Lord, and pray for His Forgiveness: For He accepts repentance [3]
